A recent weather survey measuring dry days, temperature and rainfall has determined that Glasgow is officially the coldest and wettest city in the UK.
Hard to believe considering the amount of endless sunshine we've basked in over the past couple of weeks.
Information provided by the Met Office and collated by freshflush.co.uk has ranked every UK city by warmth using a single combined metric based on maximum average temperature, dry days and total rainfall.
And out of a possible 63 placings - Glasgow sank to the bottom, winning the title of coldest and wettest city in the UK.
Glasgow has a maximum average temperature of just 12.2 degrees Celsius, experiences 195 dry days and receives 1,124 mm of rainfall annually - more than double the amount of rainfall received in London.
St Davids, Newry, Leeds and Bradford join Glasgow as the top five coldest cities in the UK.
Those living in London should slap on the sun factor as the English capital claimed the hot top spot. This is thanks to a maximum temperature of 15.3 degrees celsius, 256 dry days and only 557 mm of rainfall annually.
If you're planning a staycation, other cities that made the top five include: Cambridge, Chelmsford, Worcester and Canterbury.
