JAPANESE favourite Yo Sushi is opening up a new restaurant in Glasgow city centre.
The firm have taken over the former Pizza Hut site at West George Street.
Banners with the firm's marketing currently surround the building as workmen carry out renovations.
Planning permission to make alterations to the listed building was approved by the city council earlier this year.
Yo Sushi, who already have a base within Frasers in Buchanan Street, are known for their conveyor belt style restaurant.
The firm has around 100 restaurants in locations across the world and were founded in 1997 by British entrepreneur Simon Woodroffe.
Yo Sushi have signalled a summer opening for their new city centre restaurant.
