A MAN has been arrested following a murder bid on a busy bus.
A 39-year-old man was stabbed during a fight on a McGills vehicle in Paisley on Saturday May 20.
The bus was travelling along Neilston Road around 11.15am when the disturbance started, and he was stabbed in front of other horrified passengers.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley with serious injuries but later discharged himself.
Police confirmed a 41-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in relation to the incident.
A spokeswoman said: "A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
The 41-year-old is e4xpected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court later today.
