Hitting the local Wetherspoons for a couple with mates after work or before a night out is a much-loved pastime for many Glaswegians. Little did you know, though, that the pub-chain giant actually has a dress code.
A dress code, you say? Yes, you read that right - but it’s not what you think.
One eagle-eyed Twitter user has had many in stitches online after spotting the rule on the Wetherspoons website.

According to the pub, one frequently asked question the team is asked is: “What is the dress code?”
“Customers are requested to remain fully clothed throughout their visit, including wearing shoes,” says the team.
There you have it.

But for those customers who do have a sudden urge to get their taps aff after a couple - something we don’t recommend - another Twitter user seems to have discovered a loophole.
He responded: “Requested. Not required. Only requested. I like that they’re basically already resigned to defeat.”
