TWO thugs mugged a teenager and bolted with his wallet, leaving him with facial injuries.
Cops are now scouring CCTV to catch the thieves who pounced on their 19.year-old victim in the Garrowhill area of Paisley on Friday.
The teen was attacked and robbed of his wallet on Montgomery Road by two other men, who were not known to him at around 12.30am.
The men are believed to have ran off in the direction of Renfrew Road.
Cops say the victim suffered facial injuries but he did not require hospital treatment.
The men are described as 16 to 17 years old with dark hair. One was wearing a dark hooded top and jeans and the other was wearing a light coloured tracksuit.
Detective Constable Jacqueline Feeney, from Paisley CID, said: “An innocent man has been subjected to a violent attack by two despicable individuals and it is absolutely vital that we trace them as soon as possible.
“Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries including examining CCTV and speaking to local residents. 
“We are asking anyone who was in the area in the early hours of Friday morning who may have seen two men matching the descriptions, or anything suspicious at all, to please get in touch.
