One of the most popular social media platforms has helped over 800 former pupils and staff of a Glasgow school connect after its closure 23 years ago.
Queen's Park Secondary closed in 1994, but a Facebook page dedicated to those that attended the school has prompted a reunion to be held in Glasgow on August 19.
Queen's Park Secondary was situated in the Toryglen area of Glasgow and served feeder primaries Cuthbertson, Victoria, Annette Street and Toryglen until 1994 when it was closed and subsequently demolished.

Queen's Park had many illustrious former pupils including Stan Laurel, Winnie Ewing MEP, Sir Monty Finnieston, Dame Anna Neagle, Manny Shinwell, Ian McCaskill, and two sports personalities, Ally McLeod and John Anderson - former coach of Liz McColgan.
Interest in attending the reunion has come from as far away as America, Canada and Australia.
If you are a former pupil and would like to attend this event, details and tickets can be found by contacting jeanculley@yahoo.co.uk.

The reunion has been arranged for Saturday, August 19 2017 in the Victoria Bar of Tron Theatre, 63 Trongate, Glasgow, G1 5HB at 7.30pm.
