US disco group Sister Sledge is set to return to Glasgow this Christmas exactly one year after a successful gig in the city last December.
The ‘We Are Family’ hitmakers will be taking over the O2 Academy in Eglington Street on Friday, December 22 for a special festive spectacular featuring all of their greatest hits.
They last performed on December 21, 2016, in the Barrowland Ballroom.
This year, though, audiences can expect an evening to remember as the trio raises the roof from start to finish with Everybody Dance, Thinking of You, He’s the Greatest Dancer, and Lost in Music or an incredible evening of disco fun.

Tickets are £39.90 with booking fee and can be booked via academymusicgroup.com/o2academyglasgow.
The group is now comprised of sisters Debbie, Kim, and Kathy Sledge after founder and fourth member of the group, Joni, passed away earlier this year.
The remaining members vowed to go ahead with their planned shows in Joni’s memory.
The singer, 60, was found dead by a friend at her home in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 10.
