THE VERY best of Scottish produce is to go on show with a host of celebrity chefs at an annual event.
The BBC Good Food Show will take place on October 20-22 this year at the SEC Centre.
Included in the lineup will be Great British Bake Off Star Nadiya Hussain, Masterchef’s John Torode, Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge and Scots favourite Tom Kitchin.
They will all be showing off their culinary skills in the Big Kitchen, with Nadiya kicking off the event on the Friday.
Local restaurants and producers will also be highlighted on the main stage during a session hosted by Good Food editor Barney Desmazery.
He will join Red Onion’s John Quigley, butchers Ramsay of Carluke and Finnieston’s Drug Store Social chefs over the weekend for some live cooking and tasting sessions.
Two Fat Ladies will be opening one of the many pop-up restaurants, while a whisky lab will host whisky blending workshops.
Along with the live cooking and tasting sessions, a whole host of other activities will be on offer including book signings, a prdocuers' village, a local food pavillion and massive shopping area with more than 100 top artisan prducers.
