Woman seriously assaulted in Port Glasgow attack
A 30-year-old woman was seriously assaulted in a street attack in Port Glasgow last night.
As reported by the Greenock Telegraph, the victim suffered cuts to one of her eyes and was also slashed on her back during the incident which took place on the town's King Street at around 10pm.
Police have arrested a 37-year-old woman and a man aged 43 in connection with the incident and both are due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday.
