POLICE have now identified a man who was found dead in a block of flats in Knightswood.
The force confirmed today that they have spoken to the victim's family following the discovery on Sunday afternoon.
We previously reported that the man's body was found in the Kirkton Avenue flats.
Officers attended but the man, whose name is still not known, was pronounced dead, having sustained fatal injuries.
Allan Higgins Robertson appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court earlier in the week charged with murder of the man in Knightswood.
The 48-year-old Glasgow man made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
The Evening Times also reported that the murder happened just 15 minutes after the death of Mario Tony Capuano in Barmulloch.
Mario, 28, had died on Sunday after he was allegedly stabbed when he answered the front door of a property in the area's Quarrywood Road.
A 28-year-old man is due in court today in connection with the death.
