A BODY has been recovered following the search for a missing Maryhill woman.
As reported by the Evening Times previously, Anne Denise Doyle disappeared on October 20.
The 53-year-old, from Cumlodden Drive, was dealing with personal issues before she vanished.
A police spokesperson confirmed: "The body of a woman, believed to be Mrs Doyle, was recovered from the Forth & Clyde Canal."
The body was found near Lock 23 in Maryhill this afternoon, November 1.
The police added: "Her relatives are aware."
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
