GLASGOW funnyman Rob Kane is hosting a fundraising night to help feed 100 homeless people in the city on Christmas Day.
The comedian, from Drumchapel, will be joined by footballing legends Andy Goram and Alan Rough for the event at the Goodyear Social Club on December 1.
The pair will take part in an evening of stories, and a question and answer session which will be hosted by Rob.
It is hoped that the money raised from the £20 tickets can be donated to Glasgow City Mission to help boost their fund to provide Christmas dinners to the city’s homeless. It costs £7.14 to feed a homeless person on Christmas Day.
Rob, 34, said: “Homelessness isn’t a choice it is through circumstances people end up that way. It could have happened to me but thankfully I had good support around me. That is why it is something which is close to home.”
