Black Friday is fast approaching and, as you obviously want the best deals going, here is a round-up of what's online so far.
The post-Thanksgiving shopping day we've imported from the States isn't until this Friday, November 24. but this year many retailers are starting early and spreading the discounts out over a longer time.
Here is a selection of what's already available, and we'll update this list as the week goes on.

Kindle Paperwhite - Amazon’s new kindle was £109.99 but is now £79.99.
The All-new Fire HD tablet for kids was £129.99 and is now £89.99

Also at Argos the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio coffee machine is half price from £129.99 to £64.99.

Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of Black Friday:
- It really will help you in the long run if you do your research and not impulse buy because as research shows each year, the products that are discounted will then stay at that price even after Black Friday is over. Make sure you've done your homework so you know which discounts really are the bargains.
- Buy online. An obvious one, but in many cases you can buy from the comfort of your own home and have your purchases delivered to your door. Set up online accounts the day before you plan to buy to save time.
- Be prepared. Pre-register with stores so you see the deals first.
- Start early. If you're going out to the shops for a particular item, you will need to be early. Last year, queues at some stores started from the early hours of the morning.
- Check out social media. Companies sometimes provide discount codes. Sites specialising in discount codes can also be your friend, although the usefulness of codes you find can be hit and miss.
- Set a budget. It’s easy to get seduced by the thousands of deals.
