Sports star Andy Murray posted a hilarious tweet yesterday mocking the US President.

Last night Donald Trump took to twitter to slate The Times Magazine for supposedly offering him the title of Person of the Year with the condition that he take part in an interview and major photo shoot.

Trump wrote: "Earlier Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!"

The former Wimbeldon champ posted a parody of Trump's comment on twitter claiming he passed on the opportunity to be Sports Personality of the Year for the same reasons.

The Scots tennis ace wrote: "BBC just called to say I was PROBABLY going to be named sports personality of the year but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!"

Several people have written hilarious versions of the sportsman's tweet including English comedian and actor David Schneider who wrote: "Hollywood just called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named the next James Bond but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!"

Andy's tweet has received more than 195,000 likes and 47,000 retweets, a considerable amount more than the President's own tweet.
