A MARYHILL man has been tagged after cops discovered that he had a knife in his possession.
Luke Murray, 23, appeared from custody for sentencing at Glasgow Sheriff Court after pleading guilty to the offence.
The court heard that police had detained Murray and during processing at Stewart Street station on November 13, he revealed that he had the weapon in his possession.
Murray’s defence agent told the court his client realised the serious nature of the offence.
Murray, of Acre Drive, avoided jail and will complete 120 hours of unpaid work in the community.
He will also be supervised for a year and tagged for three months.
