A MAN has been arrested after drugs and weapons were discovered at a property in Chapelton.
Cops recovered drugs including cocaine, cannabis and Diazepam from the home on Bents Road on Wednesday.
A 22-year-old man has also been arrested and detained in custody pending appearance at Hamilton Sheriff court in relation to allegations of drug supply and possession of offensive weapons.
Sergeant Brian Scanlan, of East Kilbride police office, said: "We continue to target those persons involved in the supply of controlled drugs and would urge anyone who has information regarding the supply of illicit drugs in the community to contact police on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
