TWO women who were wearing burqas were racially abused on a train between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The women, who were travelling with four young children, had to move carriages due to the racist abuse to get away from the offender.
Transport cops now want to find the women who were on board a train between Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Queen Street on August 2, this year.
They were travelling on the 6.30pm service and at around 7.25pm, another passenger on board the service verbally abused the women, using racist language.
Officers would like to trace the women. If this was you, or you have information which could help to identify the victims, please call British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference number 1700053106.
The force also warned that hate crime will not be tolerated on the railway network.
