Rangers legend Nacho Novo in hospital after suffering a heart attack after playing in a football tournament in Germany.
The 38-year-old was taking part in the AOK Traditionsmasters five-a-side tournament in Berlin with former Ibrox legends Charlie Miller, Jorg Albertz, Michael Mols and Andy Goram.
Nova, who hit 73 goals in 255 appearances for Rangers in a six-year stint between 2004 and 2010, believed he had picked up a chest infection, according to reports.
His girlfriend Stephanie Heaney flew over the be at his bedside on Sunday morning.
She wrote on Facebook: "It’s like one bad thing after another right now. My goodness.
"I'm absolutely exhausted and with Nacho I appreciate all the messages.
"Nacho is stable and speaking to me and hopefully will be home soon."
Rangers were the only non-German side to send a team to the tournament on Saturday at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in the German capital.
The Glasgow team finished the tournament without a single point after going down 5-3 to Hertha Berlin, and 7-3 to eventual winners Union Berlin in the opening stages.
