DUE to her critically acclaimed performance during the opening weeks of Fat Friends the Musical, Natasha Hamilton will continue to play Julia Fleshman during the production’s upcoming run at the King’s Theatre in Glasgow.

Natasha will be joined by the previously announced Elaine C. Smith, Jodie Prenger, Joel Montague, Natalie Anderson, Kevin Kennedy, Rachael Wooding, Jonathan Halliwell, Chloe Hart and Neil Hurst when the show takes to the stage from Monday, April 30 until Saturday, May 5.

Natasha is best known for being one third of one of the UK’s most internationally successful girl groups of the last decade, Atomic Kitten.

On stage she has starred as Mrs Johnston in Blood Brothers and the touring production of Rent.

She said: “I am thrilled to be able to extend my run with Kay Mellor’s Fat Friends the Musical. The show has had the most amazing response from audiences who on their feet every night. I am loving every minute of the show and working with such a fabulous cast and I’m really excited to be able to play the role of Julia in more venues around the UK.”
