FRIED chicken lovers have been given some good news following a week of disappointment.
KFC has announced that all its Glasgow branches are now back in business following a chicken shortage.

The branch on Renfield Street has now been reopened, taking the total of KFC's open to seven.

Branches in Govan (Helen Street), Parkhead Forge, Great Western Retail Park and East Investment Park (London Road, Westhorn Drive) were reopened yesterday.
In the wake of KFC's chicken "crisis", PETA finalised its list of the top 10 places to find vegan fried chicken in the UK, and Edinburgh eatery Bread Meats Bread has nabbed a spot for its scrumptious spiced fried "chick'n" burgers.
Its offering includes four different homemade seitan burgers fried in vegan buttermilk and served with toppings such as vegan Sriracha mayo, "mheat" rashers, and gooey dairy-free cheese.

"The plant-based chicken at Bread Meats Bread delivers huge flavour with zero cruelty," says PETA Director of Vegan Corporate Projects Dawn Carr.
"PETA's top 10 list will help those turned away from KFC to get their fried 'chicken' fix without the battered flesh of dead birds."
