A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident involving a lollipop lady who was robbed a knifepoint on her way to work.
The 36-year-old woman was outside the Mill Inn on Millgate Road, Hamilton, around 3.30pm on February 20 when she was approached by two men.
The men threatened her with a knife before robbing her of a two figure sum of cash before making off along Millgate Road.
One man has been arrested and charged with robbery but there has been no news on the second thug.
It is anticipated that the man will appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, February 26.
