A THUG was caught strolling about Glasgow Central Station on a Sunday afternoon with a knuckleduster.
Kevin McMichael, 31, was wearing the weapon on his right hand when he spotted police and attempted to hide it in his pocket.
Glasgow Sheriff Court was told that the accused was searched on the spot and the knuckleduster was thereafter recovered.
The incident happened on September 3, 2017.
Sheriff Allan Findlay sentenced the accused, of Loreny Drive in Caprington near Kilmarnock, to a Community Payback Order with 160 hours of unpaid work to be completed within six months.
