A GLASGOW Clyde college student got the sweetest revenge after his mate sneaked the word "f***" into his graded unit work.

Darryl Docherty took to Twitter to share the hilarious group chat exchange between him and pal Lee.

Luckily, Darryl noticed the swear word while proof reading his work and managed to remove it but he still managed to make Lee feel guilty about the joke.

Glasgow Times:

The 19-year-old student starts off by innocently asking if any of his pals slipped the word into the essay and when Lee admits to the prank, Darryl explains the move has cost him to drop from a grade B to a grade C.

Lee, who goes to Kelvin College, instantly apologised and admits he is a “d***” before adding it’s “no even funny at this point.”

But that's not enough for Darryl who continued: “Mate I know it’s a laugh but I needed a B to get a conditional space at UWS [University of the West of Scotland] and now I’m f***** because you legit get one attempt.”

Glasgow Times:

He added: “I’m no gonna lie mate I’m f****** raging with you. I can understand it’s a joke but you should have at least told me a day later to have a look at it or pop up and say something like ‘see something funny in your graded unit’.”

Worried Lee immediately asks for the health and fitness student's lecturers's email prompting Darryl to share a bogus address.

The teen then received a grovelling message from Lee to his tutor pleading with her to increase his mark, which he needed in order to attend university.

Darryl finally decides enough is enough and tells Lee: “You have been done by the boldest.” Attached is a photo of himself holding up his middle finger.

A furious Lee responded: “F*** you. That’s no even funny mate.”

But the pair soon laughed about the joke with Lee branding Darryl's revenge plot "class".

Having calmed down, he later admitted: “That’s class.”

The exchange was a hit with social media users having been liked and retweeted around 2,000 times.

Darryl told Deadline News: “Lee’s a full time student also like me so he knows how important a graded unit is which made the prank even better.

Glasgow Times:

“He took the prank well as he understood that I had reason to do it, it was really a little bit of karma.”
