PROUD parents looked on as Glasgow's Baby Strings project gave its first recital in the city.
Pupils from primary one to primary three have been taking part in the pilot music string lessons in four schools.
And more than 200 primary two children from Eastbank Learning Community came together at Eastbank Academy to show off to mums, dads and carers all they have learned.
From violins to cellos, the youngsters have been getting to grips with string instruments.
Those involved in the concert came from Quarrie Brae, Thorntree, Wellshot and Eastbank primaries.
Baby Strings is part of Glasgow CREATE, which was set up in January 2016 by Glasgow Education Services to raise attainment and achievement across city schools.
The music and theatre department also runs ensembles, bands, choirs and Glasgow Schools Youth Theatre.
