THE family of Moira Jones has paid a heartfelt tribute to her at the tenth anniversary of her murder.
Moira was found in Queen's Park on May 28, 2008, having been dragged into the park and killed as she made her way home.
In the wake of her death, Moira's family set up The Moira Fund to support other families who have lost relatives to manslaughter and murder.
On Twitter, her family posted: "Ten years since Moira was taken from us...
"Darling, darling, precious, Moira
"You were always there for us, our comfort and joy.
"You were a genuine soul-mate to many and inspired love and laughter, fun and games."
Moira's mum Bea, her dad Colin and brother Grant are the driving force behind the charity, which gives grants to families in need for anything from funeral expenses to day trips for grieving families.
