A man has appeared in court charged with the alleged murder of a man in Rutherglen.
Daniel McCafferty appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he made no plea in relation to the death of Steven Campbell.
The 33-year-old from Rutherglen faces a further charge in connection with the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

He has been committed for further examination and will be remanded in custody until his next appearance within eight days.
Steven Campbell died after being struck by a white Ford Transit van in the early hours of Saturday morning in Burnhill Street, Rutherglen.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.

Dozens of tributes have been left at the scene dedicated to the victim, known as Stevie.
