A COMMUNITY shed in the Gorbals has been ransacked by vandals.

The Men's Shed was robbed of £5,000 worth of tools before covering it in right-wing and anti-police graffiti.

Phrases including "Big Jock knew" and "free Tommy Robinson" were spray painted onto walls and equipment over the weekend.

Stolen items included a TIG welder, a metal cut off saw, a Dewalt chop saw, an AEG plunge saw, a Hitachi cordless gun and several hand tools.

The community led project aims to engage local men who have become isolated or marginalised within the community.
