Thomas Forrest
A man who vanished from a Wishaw hospital over a week ago has been found dead.
Thomas Forrest was reported missing on Sunday August 19 and was last seen leaving Wishaw General Hospital.
Police have confirmed the body of the 63-year-old was found within a wooded area in Carbarns Road in Wishaw on Sunday August 26.
A post mortem examination will be taking place to establish the cause of death but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
