FUNNYMAN Kevin Hart thanks "best fans in the world" after Glasgow show.

The comedian took to the SSE Hydro stage last night for his first ever appearance in Scotland as part of his year-long Irresponsible tour.

Taking to Instagram to share a picture next to the famous clock which reads "time to meet to meet the best fans in the world", he wrote: "Thank you Glasgow, Scotland.

"Your energy was amazing tonight.

"I'm still blown away....10,500 people came out to laugh for me and me my first time in this country, an amazing moment to remember!!!!"

Kevin kicked off the night with a joke about the pronunciation of Glasgow, adding he knew he had to get it right so as to avoid the wrath of the thousands of fans who descended on the riverside venue for the show.

Telling tales from his past year, the American actor also detailed a recent scandal which hit his family after a woman reportedly threaten to expose Kevin cheating on his then-pregnant wife unless he paid out thousands.

As reported by the Evening Times, before the show, Kevin was spotted around the city - visiting American themed bar NYC Bar & Grill.

The 39-year-old and his team will travel to Birmingham today before heading to London to film a copy of his show, which is due to be released later this year.

However, he made on last stop in the city last night, ordering a post-show snack from Bucks Bar.
