A MAN has been arrested after a number of alleged mobile phone robberies in Glasgow's South Side.
The 29-year-old was charged for the robberies which involved teenage victims.
The first robbery happened on September 3 between 3.30pm and 3.55pm.
Three boys, aged 15, 14 and 12 years, were involved in separate incidents in which their mobile phones were allegedly stolen from them in the Battlefield/Shawlands area of Glasgow.
A week later on September 10 at around 3.40pm, a 13-year-old boy was allegedly robbed of his mobile phone in Springkell Avenue near to St Andrews Drive, Pollokshields.
We previously reported he was robbed on his birthday.
The arrest comes after we exclusively revealed that cops had linked the series of robberies in city's South Side to the same suspect.
The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
