The friendly staff will also been on hand to offer a free bra fitting service. Victoria’s Secret boasts the largest team of specially trained bra fit experts fitting over 100 million women each year worldwide. No appointment is required. The brand also offers 39 bra sizes from 30A to 40DDD (US DDD to UK F) in various lining levels, unlined, lightly-lined and push-up.

The brand previously opened up a small outlet inside Glasgow Airport but the new flagship store has been the next step in their Scottish takeover.

Victoria's Secret's appeal has grown thanks to the annual Fashion Show which showcases some of the world's best known models who earn the honour of becoming a brand angel.

A number of famous faces including Gisele Bundchen, Helena Christensen, Tyra Banks, Kendall Jenner, Chanel Iman, Miranda Kerr and Adriana Lima have worn their angel wings for the brand.

The show is shown in 180 countries and the retailer even has its own network television special for the event.

We revealed in March that city planners had given the store the go-ahead.

The plans were initially submitted on July, 2017 to Glasgow City Council with Victoria's Secret asking for permission to make alterations to the front of the shop and to display illuminated and non-illuminated signage.

Victoria's Secret was founded by Roy Raymond, and his wife Gaye, in San Francisco, California, on June 12, 1977, and since then the brand has become a global phenomenon.

The store opens Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 7pm; Thursday 9am to 8pm; Friday to Saturday 9am to 7pm, and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
