HUNDREDS of Westlife fans took over Buchanan Street when the band did an in-store signing at the former Virgin records.
It was the ultimate sight of boyband mania captured by our photographer in November, 2000 when the Irish crooners rolled into town.
The group held the signing to promote their Coast to Coast album with Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Brian McFadden and Kian Egan taking time to meet fans.
They later returned to the city as a four piece in 2011 to do a signing in the same store, which was taken over by HMV, as part of their farewell tour.
Today, the band released tickets to 'The 20 Tour' which will celebrate their two decades of music.
They will play three dates at the SSE Hydro next June.
