THE M8 near the Erskine Bridge has closed following a second multi-vehicle crash in the area this week.
Traffic Scotland first raised the alarm at 8am.
The team said: “Getting reports in of a multi-vehicle RTC #M8 E/B J30 Erskine Bridge - J31. No cameras in the area but police are en-route.”

Around 20 minutes later, the team advised that the route had been closed and that emergency vehicles were in attendance.

As reported by the Evening Times on Monday, the M8 westbound near the bridge was closed after a smash between a van and a HGV.
Ambulance crews and a trauma team rushed to the scene before transferring two people to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
