DRIVERS are facing lengthy delays after a car burst into flames on a busy motorway.
The vehicle became alight shortly after 3pm today in lane one of two at junction six Kingswell on the M77 northbound in Ayrshire.

The lane was closed as emergency services rushed to the scene, with Traffic Scotland warning motorists to expect slow moving traffic.

The lane has since been reopened but delays are expected as traffic returns to normal.
