A GLASGOW bank welcomed a charity into its branch to help raise nearly £8,000 for a good cause.

Richmond’s Hope spent the day at TSB Cardonald to raise awareness and vital funds as part of Local Charities Day.

Teaming up with the bank, Richmond’s Hope helps support children who have suffered from the loss of their parents or loved ones.

This is part of TSB’s long-standing commitment to support local charities that matter to its customers where they live and work.

Ryan Dolan, branch manager, said: “Local charities play a vital role in supporting the daily lives of thousands of people across the UK, and they need our support.

Since TSB in Cardonald partnered with Richmond’s Hope in 2017 it has donated £7,900 from activities like skydiving and climbing Ben Lomond.

Val Scholfield, Manager, Richmond’s Hope says: “The support that we have received from our partnership with TSB Cardonald branch has been amazing, not only financially, having raised a fantastic £7,900 for our work but also in raising awareness of child bereavement within the branch.

“The events the staff have held have all been incredibly well supported and that is a testament to the great staff within the branch.”
