Dozens of trains have been delayed or cancelled in Glasgow on Tuesday morning after a signalling fault at Glasgow Central.
ScotRail announced on social media early on Tuesday morning that NetworkRail Scotland had discovered a fault at the station.
As a result, multiple services to and from Glasgow are set to be affected on Tuesday, with delays expected to last until around 10am.
Engineers are reportedly at the station to carry out repair works.

Trains between Glasgow and Kilmarnock, as well as services to East kilbride, Barrhead and Edinburgh have all been hit.
Delays or cancellations could also affect those travelling to and from Neilston, Newton Lanark, Queens Park, Newcastle, Stranraer and Lanark.
As a replacement, valid SMART cards and tickets will be accepted on specific routes covering these areas.

Trains were said to be running again as of around 7am, many of those travelling into the city will continue to faces delays due to the disruption.
UPDATE: Lines have now reopened but due to crews and sets being out of position, disruption will continue through the morning peak.
