A multiple-car crash on the M8 outside Glasgow is set to cause restrictions for drivers during rush hour.
Police have been called to the incident which happened in lane two of the route.
The accident, which occurred near junction 5 of the motorway close to Harthill, has closed two lines of traffic on the M8 eastbound.

All lanes of the M8 are now restricted, with resultant delays expected to continue until after 8am on Thursday.
Traffic Scotland have now warned drivers to expect delays during their commute.
