Traffic in Glasgow remains slow during rush hour on Tuesday evening as commuters head home.
However, the ice and snow promised from 4pm on Tuesday has yet to show any signs of arriving in the city.

Slow traffic on the M8 and M77 have been reported in and around Glasgow.
Issues have also been flagged up on the M74 by Traffic Scotland.

The national weather service’s second yellow “be aware” warning came into effect at 4pm Tuesday until 11am on Wednesday.

Snow and ice are expected across the west of Scotland with delays to travellers and other services expected.
