Glasgow is set for more cold weather on Wednesday as forecasters predict ice and freezing fog will cover the city.
A Met Office yellow weather warning for ice, which has been in place since 4pm on Tuesday, is set to continue until 11am on Wednesday.

Temperatures in Glasgow are expected to plummet as low as -4°C in the early hours of Wednesday morning causing widespread ice.
Wintry showers could also appear in Glasgow with a small chance of precipitation throughout the night.

According to the Met Office, residents across Glasgow can expect to see some impact from the weather.
Guidelines issued on their website state that "some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces" may occur due to the weather.

They added that the public should be aware of "ice on some roads, pavements and cycle paths".

Gritters have been working throughout Tuesday to prepare for the icy conditions.
In a statement on social media, Glasgow City Council said: "Yellow weather warning for ice now issued for 4pm til 11am Wed.

"Priority roads, footways and cycle routes gritted from yesterday afternoon onwards.
"Focus now on roads and footways in higher parts of city. We will keep monitoring and responding to conditions. Stay safe as you go."
