EMERGENCY services rushed to a Drumchapel nursery amid reports a roof worker had been injured.
Fire crews and an ambulance swooped on My Little Fishes Nursery on Garscadden Road around 2pm yesterday.
It's understood a builder was hurting while working on the roof and was unable to move from the spot.
Nearby Dalsetter Avenue was reportedly closed as emergency workers battled to move the man to a waiting ambulance.
His condition is not yet known, however, the nursery confirmed no children or staff had been injured in the incident.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “The SFRS was alerted at 1.21pm on Wednesday, January 23 to reports of a man who had fallen on a roof in Glasgow.
“Operations control mobilised one fire engine and a height vehicle to Garscadden Road where firefighters safely removed one male casualty from the roof.
“He was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and thereafter transferred to hospital.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
