RIVER City stars Libby McCarthur and Kate Donnolly have backed an appeal to raise funds for overseas treatment for a Glasgow mum who is fighting two types of cancer.
The pair will be appearing at Oran Mor in the city’s West End on Feburary 21 for an exclusive dramatic reading of two plays by local writer Doreen McCardle.
The event, which is being directed by the Tron Theatre’s Andy Arnold is raising funds for overseas treatment for mum-of-three Claire Bothwell who is fighting bowel cancer and Lymphoma and is not eligible for trials in the UK.
Signed artwork created by Alasdair Gray will be available on the night.
