LOTTO winner Jane Park has spoken of how difficult she’s finding it to land herself a man after 100,000 applied to date her for £60,000.

The 23-year-old - who was thrust into the spotlight at the age of 17 when she won Euromillions - also boasted she still has “loads” of money left.

Jane took part in a somewhat confusing radio interview with Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin on Heart London Breakfast this morning.

The Edinburgh lass told Jamie: “I’ve got investments, I’ve got property, I’ve obviously stashed a bit. I’ve still got loads,  it’s just mental.”

As reported previously by the Evening Times, Park launched a website in order to find a boyfriend whom she said she was willing to pay up to £60,000.

The unlucky-in-love Euromillions winner was also said to be filming the interview process for a documentary, set to air next year.

Speaking to radio host Jamie this morning, Jane explained: “So I feel like the tabloids have maybe got a bit of the stories mixed up this week. So there is like a £60K… It’s not a competition, it’s not like a winnings, people are begging to be winners, it’s not like, it’s more like a living allowance so I wasn’t paying for loads of dates and stuff.”

Jamie replied: “Hang on, let’s pause there - so you were offering £60,000 to a man to be your boyfriend? Is that right?”

Jane said: “It’s not like… I’m not paying them to be my boyfriend, do you know what I mean? I’m not paying someone to love me or anything like that - that’s not what the expense was sort of meant for and I feel like it’s sort of been portrayed that way. And now my social media has got invites from all over the world.”

Co-host Lucy chipped in: “So people are like ‘give me 60 grand, I’ll be your boyfriend’ but you meant more that that would be something – say an amount of funds – that you would keep as an annual allowance to basically be spent on you, not for them to spend however they want.”

Jamie also asked Jane why she can’t “just meet a guy the way everyone else does?”

Jane responded: “So if I met a guy on a night out and I said “oh add me on Instagram” or something, when you go on my Instagram you’d say “how have you got 120k followers?” and then it’s not long before they see that I’ve been on TV or something, and then they know and I’m like ‘have things changed, what are they thinking?’ and it just puts a barrier up straight away.”

An irked Jamie piped up: “But hang on, you’d put that barrier up yourself, why do you feel that you can’t just get to know them anyway? Why would you instantly think that they’re after something else?”

Jane replied: “I don’t instantly just think that but it’s always in the back of my mind. It’s something I’ve had to deal with since I was 17 and I’ve always questioned it. It’s natural to question it when you come into a large sum of money.”

“I’m kind of thinking that the barrier is put up by yourself and maybe that’s why you’re struggling to meet someone, because you’re suspicious of their motives?,” asked Lucy.

“Uh huh, but I feel like anyone would. When you come in to a large sum of money at such a young age, people come out the woodwork and you just don’t know what people’s intentions are,” Jane replied.

Jane also said she “literally thought that it would just be about 100” men who would have applied to date her, but said: “It’s literally been about 100,000.”

She also said “me and my team will need to sit and narrow them down, but it’s so hard.”

“And I’m still single for Valentine’s Day, it’s a joke!” she said, before rounding off: “I’ll probably treat myself to a McDonald’s breakfast or something.”

Heart London Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin is on weekdays from 6am to 9am
