RANGERS legend Fernando Ricksen has been praised for having a "heart of a lion" as he received a new tattoo amid his battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
The former footballer visited Hamilton-based tattoo artist, Kirsty, who described the session as an "honour".
Fernando, who has been open about his disease as he campaigns for fundraising into a cure, had a lion head tattooed on his neck on Monday.
Taking to social media after the experience, Kirsty said: "Today has been an honour and one I will remember for a long time.
