Police Scotland revealed that five people were arrested for disorder at Hibs vs Rangers on Friday night.
At the match on Friday a supporter was seen on the Easter Road pitch, he then became involved in an altercation with Rangers captain James Tavernier.
This followed last week's match against Celtic at Easter Road where a bottle was thrown at Celtic player Scott Sinclair as he attempted to take a corner kick.
On Friday, two men were arrested before the match, and three were detained following the final whistle.
It has been said that a seat was also thrown from one of the stands.
Police have said that inquiries are ongoing.
Superintendent Barry Blair said: "It is extremely disappointing to see such acts of disorder disrupt a football match and this type of behaviour will not be tolerated.
"Investigations remain ongoing and five men have so far been arrested and charged in connection with incidents that occurred prior to and during the match."
One of the alleged disorder offences includes the use of a pyrotechnic device.
