PART of a busy motorway is shut to rush hour traffic amid reports a man was hit by a lorry.
The incident happened shortly after 2pm where the M73 northbound merges with the M80 at Mollinsburn in North Lanarkshire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and traffic was diverted through Cumbernauld.

However, it's not yet known how the accident occurred and there were no updates on the man's condition.
Traffic Scotland warned there are queues back to junction two Bargeddie and delays are expected to last up to 35 minutes.
