Ox and Finch, Sauchiehall Street
This place is a firm favourite among Glaswegians. Known for it’s unique take on contemporary tapas-style dishes made from traditional favourites. It can be a little on the pricey side but worth it for a special occasion.
Fanny Trollopes Bistro, Argyle Street
This a must do for anyone in the city centre. You’ll struggle to find a main course under £15 but pop it on your bucket list because you have to try this restaurant at least once.
Gamba, West George Street

We get it – not everyone is into fish. But, if you’re a seafood fan, this is one eatery not to be missed. With an array of just about every kind there is, there is something for every fish-lover on this menu.
Nanika Noodle & Bun Bar, Victoria Road
This is an Instagram fiend’s dream because Nanika is seriously unique. Nestled away in a tiny little spot in the south side, the eatery offers an assortment of delicious cuisine and it’s BYOB. The tapas-style arrangement is also very budget friendly so it makes a great destination for a cheap night out.
Nanakusa, Sauchiehall Street
For those thinking this is “just a sushi place”, you’re making a big mistake. Yes, there’s a delicious array of the Japanese dish on offer but, if that’s not your thing, no problem. Plus, it’s very well priced.
