TWO men have been arrested following a disturbance on Great Western Road.
Emergency services were seen rushing to the west end amid reports a man was hit by a car.
Police have now confirmed two men have been arrested following a disturbance on Great Western Road, near to Cranborne Road.
It is believed the two men were acting drunk and disorderly in the area and the police were called by a member of the public.
Five police cars and an ambulance were spotted travelling along Great Western Road near to Dorchester Avenue where it was believed a man may have been hit earlier this evening.
Police did not confirm there had been a road traffic collision.

The police statement read: "Around 5 pm on Tuesday 19 March 2019 police were called to a disturbance on Great Western Road, near to Cranborne Road, Glasgow.
"Officers attended and two men have been arrested. Enquiries are ongoing."
