DRIVERS have been warned they face even longer delays on the M8 this morning after an earlier broken down bus.
We reported this morning how the incident occurred on the motorway eastbound near junction 17 Great Western Road.

Traffic was back to junction 21 at the time. However, Traffic Scotland has just warned that the incident is still ongoing - with traffic back up all the way to junction 28 Glasgow Airport.

Traffic Scotland said as of 8.41am: “#M8 E/B J17 Great Western Road - J16 Craighall - lane 1 remains closed due to a broken down bus. TRISS are on scene. Congestion has joined up though and traffic back to J28 @GLA_Airport.”
