A BUSY road in Castlemilk was closed last night after a teenage boy was hit by a bus.
We reported on Wednesday how officers rushed to deal with an incident on Castlemilk Drive, between Dougrie Drive and Glenacre Drive.
The road had been closed for a period of time with police diversions in place before being opened again.

The force has since confirmed a 14-year-old had been struck by a bus.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Evening Times: “Police were called to Castlemilk Drive at 6.45pm on Wednesday to a report of a 14-year-old boy having been struck by a bus.
“Emergency services attended and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.”

It is believed the boy’s condition is not life-threatening.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for more details.
