LEIGH Griffith's brother has hit out at Rangers fans he claimed they mocked the Celtic striker's time away from the game.

Aaron said fans were taunting his brother, who has been granted a leave of absence as he deals with his mental health problems, during their three - one defeat over Hearts at the weekend.

He lashed out on Facebook, saying: "F*** Glasgow Rangers you won’t be winning trophies anymore ooo ooo f*** Glasgow Rangers you won’t be winning trophies any more!

"Honestly nothing would make me more happier for my brother to come on against they horrible b******s and score the winner and shut they c**** up."

Fans have been quick to show support for the 28-year-old dad of five since he began his time off back in December.

Hoops boss Neil Lennon is hopeful Griffiths will make his return for the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts on May 25.
